Workplace: modes, layouts, profiles
Canvas behaviour settings live in the Edit menu and the toolbar. They are stored on the machine and do not affect teammates.
Pointer modes
Toolbar ⬚ ✥ ⤳ or the Edit menu. Select: a click selects, a rectangle over empty space selects several, Shift adds. Move: grabbing drags the node at once. Connect: dragging from node to node creates an edge. "Edit right after creation" opens the field of a new node from the palette, and with the mode on, typing starts editing the selected node or edge label.
Magnets and guides
Nodes snap to the edges and centres of neighbours in the visible area and to the sizes of nodes of the same nature. Alt while moving or resizing disables the magnets. Toolbar toggles: ⊞ grid, ≋ spreading parallel edges, ⌖ guides, ◐ theme.
Groups and layouts
Ctrl+G groups the selection, Ctrl+Shift+G or right-click → "Ungroup" returns children in place. Right-click the selection → "Arrange…": row, column, grid with a number of columns and a gap, fitting to the cell by node nature, distribution, equal sizes, circle and tree by edges. Every button is a history step, undo works as usual.
Sticky notes and stickers
"🗒 Sticky note" places a note as a yellow paper with a colour choice in the inspector. "✨ Sticker…" places an image without a frame.
Profiles
"Edit → Profile…" applies a set of defaults for a task once at switching, everything can be changed manually afterwards.
| Profile | Palette on top | Hidden | Mode |
|---|---|---|---|
| General | as usual | nothing | select |
| Manager | Components, Document | the other sections | move, edit at once |
| Design | Mockups, Screens, Components, Glyphs, Document | SQL, Flow | select, edit at once |
| Data | SQL, Values, Schema, Components | Mockups, Screens, Glyphs, Document | select |
| API and flow | Flow, Values, Schema, SQL, Components | the same | select |
| Project | Components, Flow, Document, Schema | Mockups, Screens, Glyphs | select |
Hidden palette sections are found by search, a button at the bottom of the palette shows them. Panels as drawers hide the inspector and the palette, the canvas takes the whole screen. The status after switching lists what exactly changed.
Agents online
"Data → 🤖 Agents…" shows the team's agents: name, folders, connections and abilities. The "agent" fields in the code schema and task dialogs suggest the names.
